Senior DevOps Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

In support of Paycor’s strategic business goals, the Senior DevOps Engineer will work with with the Agile application development teams and the technical leadership to identify infrastructure, system, and database base needs in support of continuous integration and delivery of SaaS solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Agile development teams with identification of system configuration needs during software product development lifecycle


• Manage system configuration needs through continuous integration and delivery of SaaS solutions


• Establish new configuration, delivery, integration, and release management tools


• Ensure supportability and scalability of system configurations


• Own, configure, and maintain current and future automation tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery


• Work with Agile development teams and Architecture to setup new applications across the deployment pipeline


• Work on continuous improvement opportunities to drive rapid, high quality, efficient Saas delivery


• Support operations to maintain continuous availability of internal systems and environments and support users of these systems across Agile Development teams


• Support stakeholders by completing work orders (including build and deployment failures) as they are assigned to the team


• Assist in release related activities as assigned


• Keep apprised of industry best practices and emerging technological opportunities


• Develop innovations to promote more frequent releases/deployments


• Provide valuable feedback into vision of future deployment pipelines, branching and merging strategies, productivity tools, etc.
